Other than that it works as good as any other "couple dollar" lint remover. My couch seems to hold onto little lint balls, and the sticky rollers just don't work. This works better than those, but still not as well as I had hoped.It gets the low rating because it seems to be very cheaply made. One piece of plastic keeps falling out; it is easy to put back into place, but it shouldn't dislodge itself in the first place. Also, the fiber/brush pads (the part you need to remove the hair and lint) are glued onto the item, and within the first use, one of the pads (there are two) started to peel away. I was able to reattach it, but I'm sure it won't last long.
