I have had cheapy clothes shavers in the past and had no problems. Sure enough, the first sweater I used this on, ripped a big hole in it. I had it on a flat surface. What happens is, the blades run so forcefully that it occasionally pulls in a piece of sweater that doesn't shave off and it pulls the sweater into the mechanism. Thankfully I was able to repair the hole (search you tube for how to repair a sweater). Don't be stupid like me and ignore the reviews that say this ruins your clothes - THIS RUINS YOUR CLOTHES. Within 30 seconds I had 3 holes! This is the first shaver I've ever owned that did this. I'm calling the company to complain. |
